Upcoming Events – Save the Dates Summer 2025

🌿 BROOM BUSTING on May 10–24

Scotch broom is an invasive plant that threatens our local ecosystems by outcompeting native species and increasing wildfire risks . During this period, we encourage residents to cut broom while it’s in bloom and place it by the roadside. Email trails@halfmoon-bay.ca to arrange for pickup. Your efforts contribute to preserving the natural beauty of Halfmoon Bay.

🎪 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING in June

A date has not been confirmed, please keep an eye out for a forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is a particularly important meeting this year as there will be Coopers Green Hall Project-related special resolutions requiring member input and voting for approval.

🌲 BC TRAILS DAY on June 7

Join us for a guided exploration of Halfmoon Bay’s trail systezm. Whether you’re new to the area or seeking to discover new paths, our volunteers are eager to share the scenic routes with you. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and fellow community members.

🌿 IVY LEAGUE DAY on June 19

Get creative with us by crafting wreaths using ivy runners. This hands-on activity not only results in beautiful decorations but also aids in managing invasive ivy in our area. Materials and guidance will be provided. Come enjoy a fun and purposeful gathering at Coopers Green Hall.
