Provincial Trails

Recreation Sites and Trails BC (RSTBC) is the Provincial government program responsible for authorizing recreation on Crown Lands. Under a 10 year partnership agreement, authority to manage some sanctioned trails was assigned to the Sunshine Coast Trails Society.

Sanctioned trails managed by volunteers:

  • Little Knives
  • Datsun Alley
  • Roller Coaster/X
  • Missing Link
  • Gord’s Grunt
  • Pump-it-up
  • Truman Loop

Volunteers also look after the unsanctioned trails between Highway 101 and Redrooffs Road.

SCRD Trails

Homesite Creek Recreation Site trails are managed through a Memorandum of Understanding with the SCRD. The site features beautiful trails and scenic waterfalls, with the trail network extending beyond the Recreation Site to meet Brooks Road, and connects with the adjacent Truman Loop trails.
