Meet the Candidates – Oct. 11th – Fire Hall #2 (Welcome Woods)

This is a special announcement, with a single focus and a big request to forward it to as many Halfmoon Bay friends and neighbours as possible. We need to give everyone who wants it the opportunity to meet our two candidates and get all the information they need to cast an informed vote on October 12 or 15.

 

Meet our Area B Candidates!  The Halfmoon Bay Community Association is hosting another Meet the Candidates event next Tuesday, October 11, 5-7pm on the forecourt of Welcome Woods Firehall, Fawn Road and Cooper Road (Not Redrooffs Road).

 

Starting at 5.30pm sharp, Patrick Dickie and Justine Gabias will each make a brief introduction which will be followed by a Question & Answer period.  Please bring lawn chairs if you are able. This will be rain (if only) or shine. Please come along armed with well considered questions. To help you prepare, attached is a set of responses provided by our candidates for our last Meet the Candidates event on September 21. You might want to ask questions that have not already been asked or probe deeper on the same topics. Keep in mind they’re candidates, not Area Directors!

 

As before, we emphasize that the HBCA Board is facilitating this event as a community service; our intentions are in no way politically-driven.
