GREEK & GREEN
The Saturday night dinner & dance at Coopers Green Park, July 15th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., promises to be an eco-friendly fun event for our membership.
80 tickets will be available to HBCA members (adults only) on a first come, first served basis, commencing June 16th. Please use the form below to make your purchase. If you have questions or problems with the online payment, please contact Karyn at info@halfmoon-bay.ca
Ticket buyers are asked to bring a side dish for 8-10 people, ingredients clearly named and labeled (i.e. contains nuts, soy, shellfish, wheat, eggs, meat or dairy). The dish should not require an oven or refrigeration. Please also bring serving utensils with your dish. Click onto Perfect Pot-luck and indicate the dish you’ll be contributing. In addition to the sides, you’ll be treated to one chicken or veggie skewer and a grilled pita with tzatziki prepared by our team of volunteers, as well as a soft drink.
To keep the event GREEN, please bring dishes, cutlery, and glasses and a way of trucking your dirty dishes home.
Diners will be treated to musical entertainment by, and I’m not kidding, The Truthful Liars (Darren Cassidy and Scott Reinsen), a popular local band playing timeless rock and country classics.
The event will be held outside, weather permitting (inside the hall if not). We have approximately 40 chairs, so we’re asking those who are able to bring their own and/or a blanket.
