Exciting News: Moving Forward with the Coopers Green Hall Project!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news! The Halfmoon Bay Community Association (HBCA) has been selected by the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) to move forward with discussions about managing Coopers Green Hall (CGH). This is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to enhance and maintain this vital community space, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep you informed and involved.
We are aiming to finalize a draft agreement by the end of August, with a conceptual proposal presentation planned for mid-August. We’re gathering operational cost data and past booking information to refine our plans. Our approach includes the collection and consideration of critical community feedback, so look out for opportunities to share your thoughts at our HBCA AGM (June 13, Coopers Green Hall, 6:30pm), our annual Halfmoon Bay Fair (July 14) and/or by email.
