Our AGM will be a little different this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Coopers Green Hall is not open for events and with social distancing, gatherings are not permitted at this time so we will conduct our meeting using the Zoom platform.

We certainly have had a bumpy ride this year! Our Association has cancelled some events such as the Easter Egg Hunt (April), the Shari Ulrich Concert (May), the Salmon and Dance and the 54th Annual Halfmoon Bay Country Fair which was scheduled in July. As the year continues during this pandemic, the Association is finding new ways to continue and communicate. June is the time for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We have checked with the BC Registry Services and have been advised that under an order from the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General Emergency Program Act, we can hold our AGM via an electronic format. We will be using Zoom as our meeting platform. It is suggested to install the Zoom app prior to the meeting so participants are familiar with the application and how to use it. Note: you must use a current device that has audio and video (camera). Older models of computers, laptops, iPads and cell phones may not support this app and will run slowly or frequently disconnect.
